There is someone in my head, but it’s not me- Luis Montoya
Knocking from the outside in
I find myself locked out once again.
I stare through the honey curtains
only to lose myself in a black hole
“Where are those damn keys?”
The lights are on, but I’m not home.
The world outside is cold and dangerous
but a murderer walks the warm halls
of my home, my abode, my existence.
Hahahaha there it is, posing a friendly stance
If I’m not there, then I’m not me
If I’m not me, then the point of living seems bleak
So I’ll set those halls a-blazing,
I’ll blow the door right up.
Yes, my soul will not forsake me,
for I am free, free, free
Forget your pointless crying,
no longer are there strangers
lurking in my head;
I’m finally me!
